Our midweek service is not currently taking place because of COVID19. Normally…
Every Wednesday at 10am a service of Holy Communion is held in the St Francis Chapel on Acorn Street.
The service uses a modern language order of service – an updated version of the Book of Common Prayer service written by Thomas Cranmer in 1552 and finally published, slightly edited in 1662. There is no singing.
Whilst we have serious business to undertake (our worship of the living God), this is actually a very informal gathering. There is time to catch up with friends and to pray for one another and our community. It has also proven to be a great opportunity to ask the Rector any questions about life and faith that have arisen over the previous week.
Everybody is very welcome to join us – we look forward to meeting you!
