Remembrance

Serving Jesus, Serving Hunsdon

Every year on Remembrance Sunday, we hold an Act of Remembrance for those from our village who fought and died in the two World Wars.

In 2020, because of Covid19 restrictions which prevented us from meeting indoors, we held the service outside at the War Memorial and live-streamed it from there.

We are doing this again in 2021. The short service will be held at 10:50am. Everyone is welcome. Refreshments will be served in the Village Hall afterwards.

The Scouts, Cubs and Beavers are going to parade down from the School this year. We will be allocating them some space to gather safely and suitably distanced in front of the War Memorial.

If you cannot attend in person, you can watch the livestream on our YouTube channel and our Facebook page (whichever you prefer). You may also like to support the Royal British Legion by donating online here.
