Autumn Clear Up 2025

Our next church tidy-up day is 13th September, from 10am till 12noon. Refreshments will be served.

The jobs we intend to do are as follows…

Inside the church:

• Cleaning cobwebs
• Sweeping porch / pews / choir stalls
• Sweeping windowsills (needs doing before pews!)
• Polishing woodwork and brasses
• Clean toilet
• Clean tiled floors

Outside the church

• Clearing weeds from gullies round church walls
• Clearing weeds from Deacon grave surround and other listed memorials (being mindful of lichen)
• Removing ivy from church walls
• Removing ivy from churchyard walls
• Weeding/spraying church paths
• Tidying pathway edges generally
• Strim roadside verge outside wall
