In what way is the body of Christ received and eaten in the Lord’s Supper?

The thirty-third question in our catechism is:
“In what way is the body of Christ received and eaten in the Lord’s Supper?”
The answer is:
“The body of Christ is given, taken and eaten in the Lord’s Supper in a spiritual manner. It is received and eaten by faith, since the physical body and blood of our saviour Christ are in heaven and not here.”
